Hotel Jardem

My client was in the build-out phase for a new hotel concept located in a tropical landscape and reached out to help with initial brand styling. The initial focus was to incorporate my paintings when developing a look book for interiors, private wine collections, signature marks, and sample branding for menus and social.

Through color, metallics, and abstract forms, we created ocean-inspired essences without literally showing it. The overall look we wanted to convey was eternal summer days with sun-splashed waters, textured sands, and blue skies. Evening shades add a hint of mystery.

Branding

The style of the signature mark and logo development mimics the motion of the sea. The hand-drawn element is a nod to the original and artistic approach. Each part of the hotel has a branded color including the hotel bar, spa, cabana, and cafe.

Examples of menu and hotel cards include both the painting aesthetic and color branded styles. Social media examples showcase a range or posts including new art installations, favorite books, local hot spots, and wine labels.

Wine Collection & Interiors

The hotel design includes a specialty shop where local wines are showcased. The collections include local winemaker’s signature blends crafted for the hotel. Each wine has an original private label design featuring artists on the front and vintage/blend info on back.

Each room is uniquely styled. Bold and colorful prints paired with black and white photography on color-washed walls. The cafe has single prints on neutral walls.
